Why are some pages of the website protected?

To make sure that FIDI affiliates only benefit from FIDI added value products, FIDI has set up password protected pages containing content specifically developed for FIDI affiliates (eg:  “My FIDI”, Customs Guide…). Would you wish to have access to these pages, please contact FIDI or ask a colleague to create a login for you (see below).

Can I get a login for my company?

No. The logins are individual.
If your company is affiliated to FIDI you as an individual are entitled to a FIDInet login and password. As can be expected, different users will have different rights depending on the type of access granted. Per default, each account has the ability to edit “My Individual Data” and “My Company Data”. Would you wish to have access to the Slow Payers Report pages, please contact your CEO/RIR for him/her to ask FIDI to extend your access rights.

How come that I do not have my personal login for FIDInet?

If you have not received your FIDInet login and password yet, it means that
1. you are not recorded in the FIDI database or
2. you do not have a valid professional email address in our system.

How can I get a login?

We advise you to ask a colleague to check the secured pages of FIDInet with you.

Check in your company’s FIDInet record (My Company’s Individuals) if you do not have already a login – your login number appears next to your name. Once you have your login, get a new password.

If your name is not in your company’s FIDInet list, then create one by going to My FIDI > My FIDI Data > My company’s individuals > Add new member Button
And send an email to services@fidi.com so that we can activate your login.

If nobody in your company has a login, contact FIDI services@fidi.com and we will send you a login.

What’s in My FIDI Data ?

Depending on the access rights your CEO/RIR has entitled you with, you will have access or not to the following pages – pages with a * are subject to an access right.

My Data

  • Member View – view and edit information about yourself.
  • Company View* – view and edit information about your company. 
  • Company’s Individuals* – view and edit information for the individuals linked to your company.
  • Change Password – change your password here.

My Slow Payers*

  • Slow Payers File Overview* - View your Slow Payers files
  • Create a Report* - Report outstanding invoices in order to be protected by the PPP
  • Create a Litigation File* - Ask for FIDI’s intervention for reported invoices

My Yearbook

  • My Yearbook Preview – Check how your company’s entry in the Yearbook looks like
  • My Yearbook Ads – Update or change your company’s adverts in the Yearbook or subscribe for this service and upload your company advert(s)

My Hyperlink and Logo

  • Publish your company’s logo and/or a direct hyperlink to your company's website in FIDInet (“Find a FIDI Mover”)

Some recommendations about My FIDI Data updates

  • The fields in grey cannot be changed; should you want to correct a field shaded in grey (such as your name) please contact FIDI.
  • Upon submission of the data by clicking on "SUBMIT", a submission confirmation message immediately appears at the bottom of the page. This means the changes have been sent to FIDI for validation before on-line publication. If you do not see that message in red, you should submit your changes again.
  • The "country code" is automatically filled in when (re-)selecting the country (click on the arrow & select the country). You do not have to fill in the field.

How can I update my data?

Go to My FIDI > My FIDI Data > My Data Tab > Member View tab
Change the details you want and click on submit. The changes request will be sent to FIDI and will be validated within a couple of days.

Do remember that entering a valid professional direct email address into the system is important so that you can request a new password at any time.

How can I update my company information?

Go to My FIDI > My FIDI Data > My Data Tab > Company view Tab
Change the details you want and click on submit. The changes request will be sent to FIDI and will be validated within a couple of days. For changes relating to the company legal/FIDI name, and the change of address, you will receive back a form to fill in return.

The fields in grey cannot be changed; should you want to correct a field shaded in grey (such as your name) please contact FIDI. The "country code" is automatically filled in when (re-)selecting the country (click on the arrow & select the country). Do not enter it manually!

How can I update my company individuals’ list?

Go to My FIDI > My FIDI Data > My Data Tab > Company view Tab
All individuals whose profile lists a function will be listed as contact persons for said functions on the Find a FIDI Mover page. Click here for an overview of the available functions.

How can I add a new record for a colleague?

Go to My FIDI > My FIDI Data > My Data Tab > Company’s individuals Tab
On the bottom of the page, click on the button “add new member”. You will be able to create a new record for your colleague by filling in the information fields and clicking on the button “Submit”.
If you want FIDI to activate his login and password, please contact us at services@fidi.com

How can I delete a colleague’s record in My Company’s Individuals?

If a listed individual no longer works for your company, please inform FIDI accordingly at services@fidi.com by giving the name and record ID of the person. We will delete the record for you.

I cannot change the name of a record.

Each record is individual. If a listed individual no longer works for your company, please inform FIDI accordingly at services@fidi.com for us to delete the record.
To have a record for a new person, please follow the procedure above.

How can I put several functions to an individual?

Select different functions at the same time : hold down the “ctrl” key and click on the function(s) you wish to deactivate or on the functions you wish to select.

I have just uploaded my company logo but it doesn’t appear in the FIDI on-line directory.

It will appear on-line once you have subscribed for the on-line logo service. To subscribe, go to My FIDI > My FIDI Data > My Hyperlink and Logo Tab… and follow the instructions.

The cost for placing your logo alongside your FIDI company record is 110 EURO per financial year

What are the format specifications for the on-line logo?

Format: Logo has to be supplied in GIF format.
Size: Maximum width of 150 pixels - Maximum height of 100 pixels.
Resolution: we advise a resolution of 72 pixels/DPI.

Can I upload the company logo myself?

Of course. Just go to My FIDI > My FIDI Data. Click on the tab My Hyperlink and Logo and follow the instructions.

I want to have a direct link from my company profile to my corporate website.

The hyperlink service allows the customers to reach your company’s website simply with a click from your company’s profile. To subscribe to this service, go to My FIDI > My FIDI Data > My Hyperlink and Logo Tab… and follow the instructions.

The cost for placing a direct hyperlink alongside your FIDI company's website address is 100  EURO per financial year.

I cannot access certain pages because I have no access rights.

Each CEO and RIR has been given a full access rights account.
Should you need additional access rights to perform your duty, please get related authorization and inform FIDI accordingly; FIDI will then give you access to the related pages.

I manage to login but the page is empty. 

Log out and try these handy tips:
1. Delete your Internet temporary files (in Internet Explorer: Tools>>Internet Options) and then press refresh. Disable any program that may be blocking pop-ups. Press Refresh (F5) if you find a blank page.
2. Check the version of your Internet Explorer. FIDInet should be viewed with Internet Explorer (IE) 6 and above. Using previous versions of IE will restrict useable functionalities.
3. Reduce the security level - Go to Internet Explorer 6 (in Internet Explorer 6 : Tools >> Internet Options >>> Privacy) and reduce the security level (move privacy setting to medium or low) and press on “Sites” button. Once in the page “Per Site Privacy Action”, add FIDI website address http://www.fidi.com in the “Address of Website” field + press on “Allow” button + OK.
4. Attempt to log in from another PC. If your login works on another computer, it means that there is a settings problem on your own computer. If this is the case, please contact your IT department.
You can also upgrade your Internet Explorer version or try to login in with Mozilla Firefox.
5. Delete your cookies (in Internet Explorer: Tools>>Internet Options) and then press refresh.
 
If issues continue persisting:
6. Check your internal security/firewall settings (incoming and outgoing) with your IT department.
7. Try to log in from a computer that isn’t linked to your company’s network (at home, for example).

How can I change my password?

Passwords can be changed at any time, and as many times as you want under the following hyperlink: http://www.fidi.com/index.html?page=262

I have forgotten my password. How can I get a new one?

You should reach the page Password where you will be able to enter your login, email address and a new password and access the secured pages.

The system “Get a new password” does not work.

The email you entered may not be the same than the one saved in the database. In this case, contact FIDI and we will send you a new password.

Can I have the FIDI Customs Guide integrated in my company’s website?

The Customs Guide is made of over a hundred PDF documents which we can provide you in a zipped file. To get this file, simply contact us at services@fidi.com
You may upload these files in your own website. However please make sure these pages are protected by a login and not accessible to the general public. This however means that you will be responsible for keeping the Guide updated at all times on your website. Consequently , we recommend you set up instead a direct link from your website to the Customs Guide page in FIDInet.

I want my customers to access the FIDI Customs Guide directly via FIDInet.

FIDI created a special page to let your customers access the Customs Guide. Please contact  services@fidi.com and we will provide you with a special login for your customers.
The customer login is different from your own FIDI login and password which should obviously be kept for your company’s purpose.

A Customs document is outdated or incorrect.

Please send us the corrected information and we will gladly update the document after validation by the concerned FIDI Association.

Customs regulations for a specific country are missing or incomplete.

This means that unfortunately we have not been provided with more information by our affiliates regarding this country. If you have more information about this specific country, please send us the information and we will gladly update the document (after validation by the concerned FIDI Association).

Where can I buy FIDI green signs?

We used to provide these signs till two years ago. Unfortunately, we do not provide them anymore.
